mp3 music, portable mp3I went with my roommate to a local electronics store yesterday as he had to drop off his laptop for repairs. While there, I stopped in front of a headphone display for premium MP3 music sound. There were three buttons to choose:  Hip-Hop, R&B and Mix. Each button started a mixtape of music over the headphones. They put what I’ve been using on my portable MP3 player to shame. The difference in quality was like night and day. I’ve talked about how important audio components are to enjoying the full scope of music and have not been practicing what I preach for my MP3 player.

This demo station opened my eyes to what I have been missing from MP3 music on the move. After getting home, I got online and started searching out new headphones. There is no point buying in store with the overpriced products. I found those same speakers they were demoing for less online almost instantly. They are bulkier than my ear buds but the sound is worth the size. I know that jogging with that kind of sound would keep me going farther.
