mp3 music, portable mp3Yesterday I had a great day listening to my MP3 music while I cleaned the house. It was high time I did some serious cleaning and I accomplished quite a bit judging by how well I slept last night. Once I get to cleaning, I have a really good time, but it's just hard to get the momentum going. Thankfully I listened to some pretty zippy MP3 music to get going and after half an hour, I was more than into the project. I took a few breaks during the day but accomplished my goal of getting almost the entire house cleaned up.

I find that everything goes easier when I use my MP3 player to listen to music. The garden needs planting, the patio needs to be straighted up and there is a small pile of ironing to get done. This week spring break starts, though, and I've asked the kids to take care of some of the yard work. I know they will be using their MP3 players to do that. We have noise restrictions in the neighborhood but the MP3 music plays almost true to life through their ear buds, so I expect that they while they wouldn't have volunteered for yard duty, it's going to be more fun for them with their portable MP3 players at their side.
