Several days ago I was talking to my sister about the upcoming holiday season and where we would be celebrating Christmas this year. We’ve decided to give my parents a break from having it at their home each year because I think it’s getting to be too much work for them and so do my siblings. We finally decided that since my house was the largest and since there would be people coming from out of town that we’d have it at my place. At some point the conversation shifted and I asked her what she thought about me giving all the kids a portable MP3 player for Christmas. She said she couldn’t speak for my brother’s children but she knew that if I gave her two kids a portable MP3 player that they would be extremely thrilled. Apparently they’ve both been asking for a portable MP3 player all summer and my sister had not given in and bought them one. I’d recently discovered how wonderful it is to own a portable MP3 player and said that it may be what I give the kids this year. I can get them online for a great price and if they love it- then why not?
